I like this foundation, I could even stretch myself as far to say that I love it something I’m not keen about however is the name, for one every time I talk about it verbally I want to say Fevicol (item song) in addition the name reminds me of a popular laxative.
It was New Years Eve and I was adament that I was leaving my roots in 2017 (if it was only for another 6 weeks that is), New Years Eve fell on a Sunday so I was already at a disadvantage with the shops closing early. I wanted some cheap eyelashes and we were in Reading and although I am ok with the layout of the town, I am not as familiar as though it were Uxbridge or Windsor so armed with Google Maps I descended down one of the side streets that seemed a little dodgy but I had my boyfriend
being dragged alongside me so it wasn’t too bad and we headed to Savers. That is where I found this hair dye and it was only about £4 I think so a bargain in a jam.
Apart from when I bleach it, I only ever colour my hair using Schwarzkopf but the last time I used the brand was in 2016 with the post Schwarzkopf XXL Live Colour Review (which is also my most popular blog post over the years) so I was aware they have a crap tonne of new formulas and techiniques to try out, I decided to try out the Schwarzkopf Colour Mask in the shade 910 Champagne Blonde. In the beginning of January, I received two items from a new Scottish based natural skincare brand called Wheesht. After a brief discussion on my skin type, Kelly, the owner sent me over a sample pouch of Moroccan Detox Clay Mask along with a very generous sized sample jar of Mango Moisture Balm Cleanser and Mask. You can use these products on their own or in combination.
Before I get in to reviewing the products individually, I really liked the packaging. The Mango Moisture Balm Cleanser and Mask was sealed with an anti tamper label for hygiene and the Moroccan Detox Clay Mask was presented in a pouch that declared what it was with the branding all over it. Through and through it was a good first impression to open up. I also love the brand ethic as 25p from selected sales will go towards providing safe drinking water in Cambodia for up to 20days. Happy Wednesday, next week is a busy one with Pancake Day, Valentines Day and Chinese New Year in the space of four days – I am glad that I have the week off!
As it is Valentines day coming up, I thought it would be perfect timing to share this beautiful shade from the Velvet Petals collection by Krystal Kiss Cosmetics. You may have already seen my review on the brand back in November, and true to my word I decided to explore something new from their range.
Here are some of the reasons why I love Krystal Kiss: Continue reading “REVIEW | Krystal Kiss Cosmetics Velvet Petals Liquid to Matte Lipstick + 30% OFF!”
Feeling the first day back to work and the holiday season is over blues I was so excited to check my emails and see that Eyewake had contacted me directly asking if I would like to receive their product in exchange for a review. I had a little read about the brand (thank you Lucy for the comprehensive low down!) and I was really keen to try it out! Continue reading “REVIEW | EYEWAKE Skincare – Hydrating Eye Serum”
