REVIEW | Eylure LASHFIX

Hello Cheeleaders, I hope you have been enjoying the holiday season and ok day back to work even though deep down we really don’t know what day it is! What I do know however, is that it is day 2 of my 5 days of Eylure series and today I am reviewing the foundation of every good lash day – the lash glue itself.

“Eylure – the world’s favourite brand for false eyelashes since 1947. You’ll love our range of fake eyelashes, including all-time Eylure favourites as well as the hottest collections from Vegas Nay, House of Holland, Fleur de Force, Rosie Bea and Cheryl. We stock a huge variety of false lashes for every occasion, from day-to-day wear to stylish nights out with the girls, making sure you’ll never go wanting when it comes to the perfect fake lashes.” – courtesy of the Eylure website.

I have been using Eylure for years, they were the brand I reached for when I wore my very first pair of false eyelashes about 4 years ago and from then I loved them. There are so many ranges and collaborations to choose from that you are not stuck for options and there is always something new from them that I want to try (I currently have my eye on their new 3D mink effect lashes). I love this brand so when I came home to a massive box of PR goodies of all my favourite products from Eylure I was so surprised! I have been in contact with the fabulous Eylure team for a while now – shoutout to Norresa and Rosie, who kindly arranged for this to be sent over.

All you can see is the band, no glue!

One of the reasons why I like this glue so much is that there is no trace left behind once it dries down, it is a huge bug bear of mine when I can see the white or black glue ball on a set of strip lashes. Although black is less noticeable, I make a real hash of appplying false lashes so Lashfix is definitely my knight in shining armour!

The applicator is a doefoot made up of soft plastic, you really feel like you are in complete control when applying the glue to the lash band.

I love using Lashfix for so many reasons, I like to apply my eyelashes underneath my own eyelashes which means sometimes I get the glue in my eye (Eylure do NOT endorse this application method, this is simply how I do it) with normal brands it burns like satan and makes my eyes sting but I experience none of that with Lashfix.

In addition to this, as I mentioned yesterday Eylure includes a mini Lashfix in all their false eyelash packs which is perfect for travelling with and I always keep one in my handbag although I have never had an eyelash fall off whilst using their glue! The only downside is the very slight smell of latex, but this disappears in seconds and I only really notice it when I open the bottle. I also love how long the glue lasts in the bottle once you open it, sometimes I’ve noticed other brands go gunky really quickly and they are nowhere near their use-by date which is rather disappointing, but multiple applications later and the Eylure Lashfix is still the same consistency as the day I bought it.

If you are looking for a very inexpensive eyelash glue that does the job and beyond then reach for Eylure Lashfix!

Eyelash glue doesn’t just have to be used for lashes, the bond on Lashfix is so strong that you could probably use it to adhere body gems and glitter too, it is suitable for anyone to use provided that they are not allergic to latex.

Let me know in the comments below what your favourite lash glue is!

*I received these products free of charge with no pressure either verbally or monetarily to produce a review that is favorable to the brand, this is 100% my own opinion and experience of using the products for a period of time.
