REVIEW | Eylure Volume No 083 Eyelashes

Hello Cheeleaders, I hope you had a lovely Christmas, back to reality now (I am back to work tomorrow) and I am starting my 5 days of Eylure campaign* as part of their 75th Anniversary!

“Eylure – the world’s favourite brand for false eyelashes since 1947. You’ll love our range of fake eyelashes, including all-time Eylure favourites as well as the hottest collections from Vegas Nay, House of Holland, Fleur de Force, Rosie Bea and Cheryl. We stock a huge variety of false lashes for every occasion, from day-to-day wear to stylish nights out with the girls, making sure you’ll never go wanting when it comes to the perfect fake lashes.” – courtesy of the Eylure website.

I have been using Eylure for years, they were the brand I reached for when I wore my very first pair of false eyelashes about 4 years ago and from then I loved them. There are so many ranges and collaborations to choose from that you are not stuck for options and there is always something new from them that I want to try (I currently have my eye on their new 3D mink effect lashes). I love this brand so when I came home to a massive box of PR goodies of all my favourite products from Eylure I was so surprised! I have been in contact with the fabulous Eylure team for a while now – shoutout to Norresa and Rosie, who kindly arranged for this to be sent over.

Today I will be reviewing the Volume No 083 false lashes, I really like these lashes and often reach for them as they are very full but short so they finish off your look without looking over the top.

You will find the lashes, a mini lashfix and instructions in the packaging.

The packaging is nice and distinctively Eylure, my favourite part is that they include a mini lashfix which is great if you are buying the lashes in a hurry and really saves on travelling space!

As you can see, the lashes are very full but don’t let this intimidate you – once these lashes are on they are truly your lashes but better and just complete your look without it looking too dramatic. I love using these if I am going out after work because you can easily transition between day and night with them.

Personally, I need to trim the lashes down before I put them on. If the ends of the lash band pokes you in the corners when you blink then they are either not aligned to your eye properly or they are too long.

This is how the lashes look when applied traditionally – on the top of my own eyelashes

I wore the eyelashes both the conventional way, on top of your own eyelashes as described by the instructions enclosed in the packaging and my favourite way of wearing them, underneath my own eyelashes as I am not very good at getting the band to lay flush with my lash line when I put them on top. Both ways are comfortable provided you have trimmed them so they fit so which ever way works for you apply them that way.

These lashes will last a good few wears if you look after them, when you take them off (of the next morning) make sure you remove any of the glue on the lash band, gently clean with micellar water, dry and comb out then replace them in their original packaging so that they stay dry and dust free in their shape ready for their next day/night out!

Let me know in the comments below if you like Eylure lashes and which ones are your favourites!

*I received these products free of charge with no pressure either verbally or monetarily to produce a review that is favorable to the brand, this is 100% my own opinion and experience of using the products for a period of time.
