Blogmas 2017: Day 19 – Snowman nail art tutorial

Do you want to build a snowman?

I think this design is super cute and easy to achieve in less than 15 minutes and 5 steps if you are opting for the negative space nail vibe!

What you will need: Dotting tool, stiper brush or nail polish pen in black. (the brushes and dotting tool you can get from poundland or make them yourself from household items!). White, Black and Orange nail polish.

Step one: Create 3 white circles on the nail, with the largest one just before the end of the nail. Make the second circle slightly smaller than the first one you made then follow up with another circle smaller than the second circle you just painted.

Step two: Using your dotting tool or nail polish pen with a light pressure, add 3 black dots on the large circle, two on the second circle then create his face with enough dots for his eyes and smile. To create his hat, draw a straight line across the top of his head, then draw a square on the middle of the line and fill this in.

Step three: Still using the nail polish pen or the striper brush, draw on his arms at the side of his body using a steady line action and don’t forget to add a little line at the top of your branch at a 90 degree angle for his “hands”.

Step four: Dip your dotting tool in some orange nail polish and then in the middle of his head lightly dot and drag to one side for his carrot nose.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this nail art and how it came out!
